My first youtube video and stop motion animation ^^ (pls don't expect much, it was just for fun). Happy Holidays my dear family, friends and WFP! ♥ This is for you guys! THE INSPIRATION I've seen a lot of cool stop motion animation in the past, but I never thought of attempting on making a stop motion animation until I saw this clip call "Desktop Fun" back in late October. That's when I thought to myself, wouldn't it be great if I could get my stuff animals/toys to come alive? Just like the simple video idea in Desktop Fun. Desktop Fun By Wesley Chan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pUj6a... THE PROCRASTINATION Procrastinated for 2 months. Borrowed Jennifer's Nikon DSLR camera for 1.5 months, and didn't take a single picture related to the stop motion animation that I was pulling off. I had to return the camera to her the next day, and that's when I finally got off my bum and did something. ^^; THE IDEA I thought of many awesome ideas back in early November, but those ideas wasn't part of the video you just saw. This idea actually came in the wee morning of Christmas Day at 4am in the morning!! Yes Suz, Wendy and I decided to party late that night at Suz's place by pigging out on food and watch Kdramas, haha. We start brainstorming ideas around 3am, there were a few ideas here and there but it was way too complicated. I really want to incorporate a Christmas theme since we had a Santa Clause toy around (I'm not sure if you can tell, but it's actually a Santa Clause head on a headband). The idea just hit me when I thought about how I was planning to sleep earlier on Christmas eve but instead we were up party. Then we were joking about how Santa Clause won't visit us because we were still up. The idea wouldn't work if Suz did have chocolate chips cookies and milk at home. The rest was history! THE MAKING I used a Nikon D60 First picture taken at 4:20am (Dec25) Last picture taken at 5:35am (Dec25) http://twitpic.com/3k38lu/full 270 photos were taken Edited at 9:30PM (Dec25) Making voice over at 3:30AM (Dec26) Finished and uploaded it onto YT at 5:30AM (Dec26) SPECIAL THANKS Suzanne for pushing me to work on my mini stop motion project and helping me move the stuff animals around. Wendy for sticking around and helping me out with this project by moving the stuff animals around. I couldn't finish the taking the pictures that quick without you girls!
